"Tell It Like It Is!"
Our Teen Pregnancy Prevention and Awareness Program
There are three parts of this program:
1. Our Financial Professional discusses the amount of funding it costs to raise a child per year. This is weighed up against minimum wage income versus higher education income.
2. One Teen Mom and one Teen Dad share their story and Tell It Like It Is! It is important that we allow peers to teach peers. Through the testimonies of those living as teen parents, we believe it is possible to provide a program for entire families that will help them to cope with and understand the pressures teens experience.
3. An adult Teen Parent wraps up the Program by sharing his/her story. This piece is designed to encourage those who already have children to work hard to succeed. It is also designed to encourage those who do not have children, to complete their education, and believe in yourself to reach for the stars.
